Coline and Jean were two different people who shared the same problem. Both were working extremely demanding jobs that left them without any time to enjoy life outside the office.
Coline, a financial analyst, saw spreadsheets when she tried to study paintings. Jean, a developer, was so desperate for a dose of culture that he took to reading art history books at 5 a.m. before heading in to code.
One lucky weekend when the stars aligned, Coline and Jean crossed paths. While commiserating about their mutual cultural deprivation, they dreamt up a solution: a way to learn more about art that was quick, fun and didn’t demand a Ph.D. to understand.
Soon after, Artips was born.
